| Starting on Monday, the wave forecast in the coastal waters forecast will replace the wind wave and swell with wave detail, allowing for up to 3 wave groups to be described by height, period, and direction, providing critical information for mariners. While wind wave and swell will no longer be labeled, this will provide additional beneficial information for up to 3 distinct wave groups. |
